The line key LED on the hold phone flashes green when the shared line call is
placed on private hold.
The line key LED on any other phone that shares the line turns off when the shared
line call is placed on private hold.
You can also configure a DSS key as a private hold key via phone user interface or web
user interface. You can place a call on private hold by pressing the private hold key
directly.
To retrieve a call placed on private hold:
1. Press or the Resume soft key on the hold phone when there is a private held
call on the shared line.

To barge in a shared line call:
When there is an active call on the shared line, the user can barge in the active call by
pressing the line key (either a short or long press) on any other phone shares the line.
Do one of the following:
- Press the line key to barge in the active call.
- Long press the line key.
The Cancel, New Call and Barge In soft keys appear on the LCD screen.
Press the Barge In soft key to barge in the active call

You can record calls by pressing a record key on the SIP-T28P IP phone. There are 2
different ways of configuring call recording and they even work differently:

Record: The phone sends SIP INFO message containing a specific header to trigger
a recording.
The private held call can be only retrieved by the hold party.
