Click Confirm to accept the change.

Note

According to the response message from the server, the IP phone will automatically
configure the BLF List keys beginning from the first unused DSS key. Once any DSS key is
seized, the IP phone will skip to configure the next DSS key.

Shared line is configured by assigning the same extension number to multiple lines. The
shared line is indicated by a different line icon. In the following figure, the line 3606 is
private and the line 3607 is shared.

You can use the shared line feature to share an extension number which is used on two
or more IP phones at the same time. An incoming call to that number will cause all
phones to ring simultaneously. The incoming call can be answered on one of the phones
but not all of them. This feature is very useful in the boss and secretary scenario. For
example, the secretary can share the boss' extension number on her phone. When there
is an incoming call to the extension number of the boss, both the phones of the boss and
the secretary will ring simultaneously. Either the boss or the secretary can answer the
call. Calls on shared line can be placed on hold or barged in.

Note

To place a call on the shared line:

1.

Press the line key.

2.

Enter the desired number using the keypad.

3.

Press , , or the Send soft key.

The shared Line feature is not available on all servers. For more information, contact your
system administrator.

For more information about the BLF List pickup and BLF List barge in feature, contact your

system administrator.

You can configure the BLF List settings via web user interface only.
