PERIODIC M AINTENANCE/ LUBRICATION INTERVALS
* Since these item s require special tools, data and technical skills, they should be serviced by a
Yam aha dealer.
NOTE:
• The air filter elem ent needs m ore frequent service if you are riding in unusually w et or
dusty areas.
• Hydraulic brake system
– Replace the brake fluid after disassem bling the m aster cylinder or caliper cylinder.
– Check the brake fluid level and add fluid as required.
– Replace the m aster cylinder and caliper cylinder oil seals every tw o years.
– Replace the brake hoses every four years, or if cracked or dam aged.

• Tighten if necessary.
