1. Check:

• therm ostat

Does not open at 71 ~ 85 ˚C

→

Replace.

a. Suspend the therm ostat in a con-

tainer filled w ith w ater.

b. Slow ly heat the w ater.

c. Place a therm om eter in the w ater.

d. While stirring the w ater, observe the

therm ostat and therm om eter’s indi-
cated tem perature.
