Communicating with specific stations
Notification of incoming calls from partner stations using the bell
function
While communicating using the tone squelch, DCS, or new pager function, a beep may
be programmed to sound when a signal containing the corresponding code is received.

for over one second.
The Setup menu appears.

successive bell rings.
“1 OFF”, “2 1 time”, “3 3 times”, “4 5 times”, “5 8

The default setting: 1 OFF

Sets the selected beep setting and returns the display to the previously viewed
screen.
Tip
You can also return to the previous screen by pressing
3 times.
