7. Siphon a gallon of water through the detergent system after each use.
This prevents the possibility of corrosion or detergent residue causing
mechanical problems during the next use.
operation
NOTICE
The detergent adjustment knob or detergent solenoid MUST by turned
to the OFF position when not in use or when the strainer is not totally
submerged in solution. If not, the pump will lose its prime resulting in
no spray discharge at the nozzle. This condition will damage the pump
over an extended time period.
SHUTDOWN
1. If the burner switch is still on, turn it off.
2. Squeeze the trigger and discharge the water for a period of three
minutes to cool the heat exchanger and high pressure hose.
(Insufficient cool down period of the high pressure hose will cause
excessive wear and eventual rupturing of the hose.)
3. Move the pump switch to the “OFF” position to stop the pumping unit.
If machine has the time-delay shut-down option, wait for timer to time-
out and shut machine off. See below for more information on time-
delay shutdown.
4. Trigger the gun momentarily to relieve trapped pressure.
