Before driving in winter, carefully
check and ensure the effectiveness of
the safety equipment such as steering,
brake, lamps, instruments, horn, wiper,
etc.

The driver must pay great attention
to driving safety in the special weather
of winter, and strengthen the
corresponding awareness; focus on
driving, control speed, and steer
properly.

In winter, the road is slippery after
snow. Pay attention to the speed,
stability and balanced operation during
driving. Do not accelerate urgently,
step on the brake pedal urgently or
turn suddenly. Keep smooth
acceleration and medium & low speed
during driving.

Start and accelerate slightly and
slowly to prevent wheel slip or sideslip.
Cautions for parking on snowy days:

Park the vehicle in a place without
snow or water to prevent water from
accumulating into ice and tearing the
wheels and tires.

Place wooden boards at tires to
prevent snow.
◆
Do not park the vehicle under the
tree to prevent damage by ice fall.
◆
lift the wiper after parking to prevent
freezing on the windshield, so as to
avoid the tear of the wiper during use.

Wipe the snow water on the lamps
to prevent freezing crack.

Try to park on flat ground.

Open the door to cool down for a
few minutes and then lock the door, to
reduce the temperature difference
between inside and outside and
prevent the glass from freezing.
Check the storage battery and cable
Cold weather will reduce the energy of
the battery, so the battery should be
kept fully charged for starting in winter.
When the mechanical parking brake
may be frozen, it is recommended not
to drive the vehicle immediately, but
to wait until ice thaw of the parking
brake.
For vehicles with mechanical
handbrake, if parked in winter
night or a long time and there is
water or snow around, block the wheels,
rather than using the parking brake, so
as to avoid freezing around parking
brake wire, which may result in difficulty
for parking brake release.
Prevent ice and snow accumulating
under the fenders
Snow and ice accumulated under the
fenders may make it difficult to steer.
When driving in cold winter, stop
frequently to check whether there is
snow and ice under the fender.
Backup tool preparation
Prepare backup tools for emergency,
such as anti-slip chains, window
scrapers, sandbags, and signal flashing
devices.
