Driving preparation
In order to ensure the service life of the
vehicle, the vehicle should be run in at
the beginning before normal use.
Special attention should be paid to the
driving style of the new vehicle during
the first 1,500 km, which will help
Run-in period
guarantee the future reliability and
economic performance of the vehicle.
The moving parts of the drive motor
should be run in before it works at
maximum load. At this stage, the
following should be noted:
◆
New tires must be run in for optimal
adhesion. Drive carefully for the first
500km.
◆
The new brake disc should also be
run in, because the optimal friction per-
formance will not be achieved in the
first 200km. In case the braking effect is
not optimal, increase the brake pedal
force moderately.
No overload
Make sure that the load does not reach
the maximum during the run-in period,
otherwise the parts that do not reach the
good run-in will be seriously damaged.
No long-distance driving
Do not drive long distance during the
run-in period, which will cause wear and
tear to the drive motor due to long-time
running.
No emergency brake
Reduce emergency braking, otherwise
the brake system will be impacted, and
the impact load of the chassis on the
drive motor will also be increased.
No traction
If there is any problem with the vehicle,
it should be transported using a platform
or wheel lift trailer. Tow chain or rope
may damage the vehicle.
First maintenance
Within three months after purchase or
after driving 3000km, carry on the first
run-in period maintenance to the
vehicle, in order to ensure that the
vehicle is in good use condition.
It is necessary to inspect the vehicle
before driving, which will support safe
driving and pleasure enjoyment.
Before the start of drive motor
Exterior inspection:
Safety inspection before driving
Tire: check the tire for damage or
proper inflation pressure and for
embedded foreign matter in the tread.
Take corrective action if necessary.
Tire nut: check whether the nut is
loose.
Leakage: if the vehicle is parked for a
period of time, check whether there is
brake fluid or other liquid leakage under
it (dripping water is a normal
phenomenon after the use of air
conditioner).
Lighting: check whether the front
lamps, rear lamps and other lamps can
work normally.
Body: make sure all windows, mirrors
and exterior lamps are clean and not
covered.
