Safety belt
Use of safety belt
Proper wearing of safety belt can
effectively reduce the possibility of driver
and passenger injury in an accident.

The driver and passenger should
wear safety belt correctly at all times,
otherwise the possibility or severity of
injury in an accident will be increased.

When the vehicle is in motion,
proper wearing of the safety belt can
reduce injury to the driver and
passenger during emergency braking
or an accident.

Pregnant women and disabled
people should also wear safety belt
properly.

Safety belt can not be shared. Even
children should not share one safety
belt.

Do not recline the seat too much.
When a vehicle has a frontal collision,
the more reclined the seat, the more
likely it is to cause serious injury or
even death.

Check the safety belt system
regularly. In case of any cut, wear, or
loose parts, the belt components or
assembly must be replaced. Do not
disassemble or modify the safety belt
system.

Use neutral soap or warm water rather

bleach, dye or scrubs to clean the
belt.

Safety belt (including bolts) used in
a serious crash must be replaced.
Even for minor damage, the entire
assembly should be replaced.
Why must wear safety belt
The safety belt can reduce the inertial
motion of the driver and passenger
when the vehicle has a frontal
collision, as well as the impact injury
on the driver and passenger as much
as possible.
The physical principle of a frontal
collision
Both vehicles and occupants have
energy (kinetic energy) during driving,
which depends on the speed of the
vehicle and the mass of the occupants.
The higher the speed and the heavier
the mass, the stronger the energy
released in the collision. The vehicle
speed plays a decisive role. If the
vehicle speed is increased from 25 km/h
to 50 km/h, the release of kinetic energy
will increase by four times.
After the collision, the occupant who
is not wearing the safety belt will still
move forward at the pre-collision
speed due to inertia, while the vehicle
is not moving at this time, which may
cause the occupants seriously injured.
