Front compartment cover
Open the front compartment cover
1. Open the charging port cover
through the handle at the driver side; 2.
Turn the knob inward (the knobs are on
the inner side of the charging port
cover, 2 knobs), to change the knob
direction from vertical to horizontal
(horizontal is "on", vertical is "off"); 3.
Hold the corner of the charging port
cover with your hand and pull the lower
part of the front compartment cover
at the same time (be careful not to
punch your hands);
4. After pulling away the lower part of
the
front compartment cover (the metal
base on both sides of the lower part
away from the steel retainer of the front
bumper), remove the cover slowly (be
careful not to scratch other parts).
Close the front compartment cover
1. Open the charging port cover through
the handle at the driver side; 2. Place
the
front compartment cover roughly
to the installation position; 3. Insert the
upper clamps of the cover into the
grooves of the wiper cover and the
flume, and put the inner clamps into
place by pressing; 4. Press the lower
part of the cover plate to insert the
metal base on both sides into the steel
retainer on the front bumper and clamp
them into place; 5. Turn the knob
outward (the knobs are on the inner
side of the charging port cover, 2
knobs), to change the knob direction
from horizontal to vertical (horizontal is
"on", vertical is "off"), and finally close
the charging port cover.
