When ABS works, it is equivalent to
braking at a very high frequency. When
the brake pedal is stepped on in an
emergency, the driver will feel that the
brake pedal is trembling and
accompanied by the "click" sound as the
brake pump is running. At this time, the
anti-lock brake system is in the normal
working state.
As the brake pump is constantly
adjusting the brake pressure, there is a
continuous feedback force on the brake
pedal. Therefore, in this case, it is
necessary to step on the brake pedal to
the bottom, and do not repeatedly step
on the pedal.
ABS is only an auxiliary braking system,
and its role is very limited. For example,
when braking on sandy roads or roads
with fresh snow, the braking distance
may be longer than that on cement
roads or dry roads. It must not be
considered that the braking performance
of ABS can reach the ideal state under
any circumstances. Therefore, do not
rely too much on ABS, while only safe
driving is the most important.
Do not rely too much on ABS and brake
assistance device, control the speed,
ensure effective vehicle distance, and
ensure safe driving.
ABS can not be used in the case of
exceeding the tire lock threshold or
hydroplaning .

There are certain limitations for the
stability of the vehicle installed with
ABS and the effective control range of
the steering wheel, so we can not rely
on its role too much, please ensure the
safe driving.
When the start button is "ON", the
yellow ABS fault warning indicator will
be on for about 2s. If the warning
indicator does not go off after turning
on or is on during driving, it indicates
that there is some fault in ABS.

If ABS fails or cannot work, the
braking system retains the basic
braking function, but you should
contact the XEV authorized service
station for maintenance ASAP.

Hydroplaning:Water film effect or
hydroplaning occurs when a tire
encounters more water than it can
scatter. Water pressure in the front of
the wheel pushes water under the
tire, and the tire is then separated
from the road surface by a thin film of
water and loses traction. The result
is loss of steering, braking and power
control.
