Self handling
Puncture
If puncture occurs during running,
please stop the vehicle as per the
following steps, and then contact XEV
authorized service station ASAP.
Puncture prevention measures
◆
Frequently check the tires to
eliminate the puncture risk.
◆
Frequently remove stones or foreign
bodies in the tread grooves to avoid
deformation of tire crown. Check tire
sides for scratches, puncture wounds,
or excessive wear.
◆
Change the tire positions every
10,000km for a vehicle that travels
frequently on highway.
◆
All tires should be used within their
service life. Tires that exceed the
service life or have been seriously worn
should be replaced in time.
◆
When the driver is aware of
puncture during driving, tightly grip the
steering wheel with both hands, try to
control the steering wheel rotation and
drive the vehicle straight along the
original direction.
◆
Do not suddenly step on the brake
pedal, otherwise the vehicle may be
out of control or overturn due to loss of
gravity center.
◆
Slightly step on the brake pedal,
gradually slow down, and stop the
vehicle on the roadside.
◆
Turn on the hazard alarm lamp and
put a warning triangle behind the
vehicle to avoid collision by other
vehicles.
