Select a Location for the Printer
Select a location for the printer that is level and provides clearance for ventilation. To avoid print
quality problems, choose a location that is protected from direct sunlight. Refer to the
General
Information section of the Phaser 7300 Color Printer Service Manual for information on physical
specifications as well as clearance specifications.
■ 24 inches (60 cm) on the right and left sides
■ 8 inches (20 cm) at the rear
■
28 inches (70 cm) on top of the printer
■ 40 inches (100 cm) in front of the printer
Unpack and Install the 1650 Sheet High-Capacity Feeder
In this exercise, you will unpack and install the 1650 Sheet High-Capacity Feeder.
Refer to the instruction sheet that ships with the 1650 Sheet High-Capacity Feeder to complete
this exercise.
Unpack and install the 1650 Sheet High-Capacity Feeder.
The 1650 Sheet High-Capacity Feeder instruction sheet is available on the
Phaser 7300 Customer Support Training CD-ROM under the Resources tab.
The 1650 Sheet High-Capacity Feeder weighs 150 lbs. (68.5 kg.) and
requires three people for lifting. To avoid injury, always use good lifting
techniques when moving the printer. Refer to the Setup Poster, step 2 for
the proper lift points and illustration of the lifting technique.
