Clearing Paper Jams

Clearing Paper Jams

A paper jam can be cleared in the following manner:

First, open the upper part of the printer by pressing the release lever on the left beside
the receipt output. Hold this lever pressed while lifting the upper part of the printer
backwards.

Draw the green lever back in order to raise
the printing mechanism. You can now find
out where the paper jam has occurred.

Remove the remaining paper, then pull the
lever forwards again in order to re-insert
the paper into the paper feed magazine.
Close the upper part of the printer until you
hear it click into place.

If paper residues have collected in one of
the paper feed magazines, clean the maga-
zine using the residual paper remover
supplied.
