Code Error Cause Remedy
404 Pump blocked. Mechanical influence is inhibit-
ing the rotation of the pump
shaft. Check free movement of rotat-
ing parts in the pump and motor.
Remove deposits and foreign
substances.
Additional information about causes and remedy:
• In addition to deposits and foreign substances in the system, the pump shaft can also be blocked
by severe bearing wear.
405 Electronic module too hot. Permissible temperature of the
electronic module is exceeded. Ensure permissible ambient
temperature. Improve room
ventilation.
Additional information about causes and remedy:
• To ensure sufficient aeration, adhere to permissible installation position and minimum distance
from insulation and system components.
406 Motor too hot. Permissible motor temperature
is exceeded. Ensure permissible ambient and
fluid temperature. Ensure motor
cooling through free air circula-
tion.

407 Connection between motor and
module interrupted. Electrical connection between
motor and module faulty. Electrical connection between
motor and module faulty.

• Dismantle the control module to check the contacts between module and motor.
408 There is flow through the pump
in the opposite direction of flow. External influences cause flow
against the direction of the
pump’s flow. Check power control of the
pumps, install check valve if
needed.

• If flow passing through pump in the opposite direction is too strong, the motor can no longer start.
409 Incomplete software update. The software update was not
completed. Software update with a new
software bundle is required.

• The pump can work only when software update is completed.
410 Voltage analogue input over-
loaded. Voltage analogue input short-
circuited or too heavily loaded. Check line and consumers con-
nected to power supply of ana-
logue input for short-circuit.

• The fault impairs the binary inputs. EXT. OFF is set. The pump is stationary.
411 No main phase. No main phase. checking the main connection

• Contact error on mains connection terminal.
• Mains phase fuse has tripped.
412 Dry running. The pump has detected than
power consumption is too low. No fluid in installation.
Check water pressure, valves
and check valves.
Additional information about causes and remedy:
• The pump delivers no or only very little fluid.
413 Discharge pressure too high. Pressure on discharge side is too
high. Check and adjust if needed set-
ting of Max. pressure detection.
Additional information about causes and remedy:
• Suction pressure on the installation is too high and must be limit by pressure limiter.
