INSTALLATION AND OPERATION

the negative wire for the 24V motor to
the terminal bolt on top of the motor. See
following pictures for location.

16. Power Booster Installation

Power booster does not apply to FT systems.

17. Reservoir

The vented reservoir screw is shipped in a plastic

bag, wire tied to one of the hydraulic hoses.
Use automatic transmission fl uid when
fi lling the oil reservoir.

18. Pre-operation Hydraulic Inspection

The FT hoist will travel 457mm, 18 inches. Make

sure there is room under your boat for this
travel.
18.1. Down Operational Check Pro-

cedure

Follow procedure in manual.
18.2. Up Operational Check Procedure
Turn off the console. Raise the hoist by

tapping the blue wire marked 27 to
the terminal 27 on the hoist board.
Keep tapping the wire until the top
limit switch stops the hoist motor.
Important: if the hoist stops mov-
ing and the motor keeps running,
adjust the top limit switch down so
the motor stops before the hydraulic
ram bottoms out.

This completes the installation of the FT system
