WESMAR
HD800
PART A:
OPERATION
Like all sophisticated computer equipment, the
HD800 series sonar has temperature limits of 0
degrees C (32 degrees F) to 43 degrees C (110
degrees F).
THE SONAR SHOULD BE OPERATED ONLY
WITHIN THESE TEMPERATURE LIMITS.
The HD800 has an internal memory that will remember
all the special settings you have selected for your fish-
ery. This internal memory will retain all your settings
even when the sonar is turned off. There is a remote
possibility the settings may return to the default set-
tings if there is a power surge. If this happens, turn
the sonar off, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.
Reset your special settings as before.
The HD800 sonar is like having two sonars in one;
one part scanning horizontally, the other scanning
vertically. With two separate operations, each has its
own individual controls. When scanning horizontally,
the adjustments are set for sonar operation. When
scanning vertically, the adjustments resemble that
of a sounder. When the sonar moves back and forth
between the two operations, all preset adjustments
also switch back and forth.
