Connect the numbered lugs of the soundome cable
to the same numbered terminals on the Transmitter/
Receiver Board & Hoist Board.
15.0 HOIST SYSTEM WIRING
All wiring into the Junction Box will be through the
three small strain reliefs in the bottom. This is for
both DC and AC hoist systems, and applies to all
Hydraulic Hoists, except the Model 18LS (See 12.3
for Model 18 wiring).
15.1 DC Hoist System
15.1.1 Voltage to Hoist Motor
Connect Ship’s Positive [+] to the large, unused
terminal post on the contact or (relay) located on
the DC Hoist Motor.
Connect Ship’s Ground to the lower, unused terminal
post on the DC Hoist Motor.
Maximum current draw is 100 AMP’s. Use 12 mm
diameter wire (4/0 AWG) from the ship’s battery
supply. Wire must not be longer than 60 meters
(200 feet).
15.1.2 Voltage to Hoist Board
Connect a wire (user supplied) from the positive
terminal post on the contact or (relay) to Terminal
30, “Ship’s Power,” on the Hoist Board (in Junc-
tion Box).
Connect a wire (user supplied) from the negative
terminal post on the hoist motor to Terminal 31,
“Ship’s Power,” on the Hoist Preamp Board.
Maximum current draw is 5 AMP’s for contactor
and solenoid valve operation only (not including
pump motor).
15.1.3 Wiring the Contactor (relay)
Terminal Lugs 28 and 29 are prewired to the contac-
tor (relay) located on the DC Hoist Motor.
