TOP HOIST CLAMP, SIDE VIEW
9.1.1 Be sure there is enough room beneath the
boat to lower the soundome.
9.1.2 Turn off power to the hoist system and
console.
9.1.3 Disconnect the upper hoist limit switch
wire (blue) from Terminal 27 on the hoist board.
Once this is disconnected, the hoist will only move
down when powered.
9.1.4 Disconnect the +12VDC wire of the inter-
connect cable from Terminal 2 on the hoist board.
DO NOT let this wire touch any other terminal,
wire, or ship’s ground.
9.1.5 When performing the next steps, do not
let the hoist safety clamp press into the packing
gland with the motor running. This could damage
the hoist assembly.
9.1.6 Make sure wires from Terminal 2 and
Terminal 27 are not touching any other wire.
Turn on the hoist and console, and push
down the HOIST Switch on the console front panel.
Now there is +12VDC on the wire you
pulled from Terminal 2, and hoist motor voltage
on Terminals 30 and 31.
9.1.7 When voltage is applied to the hoist, check
the hoist down light on the console. It should be
off.
If the light is on, adjust the light switch
located on top of the stainless steel angle iron on
the hoist. Move the switch bracket up or down until
the light goes out.
