Repair Procedures

Welch Allyn Propaq Encore Vital Signs Monitor

When installing the display module:

•

Remove any dust from the display filter using pressurized de-ionized gas.

•

Orient the display module so that the J1 connector is toward the buttons.

•

Orient the brackets so that the holes on the bracket straps align with the holes in
the posts on the sides of the chassis.

•

Verify two washers are present for each screw.

•

Torque screws to 3.8in-lbs to 4.2in-lbs (.43N-m to .47N-m).

•

After the display is in place, blow out any particulate with de-ionized gas.

Removing the Front Panel Buttons

This section describes how to remove the front panel buttons.

Remove the Analog board (

“Replacing the Analog Board”
