WL-TX-900 Setup
4.5.1 Overview
The main setup screen for the WL-TX-900 is shown below. As you can see the main
options are limited to changing the Unit name (see ‘Adding a unit’ above); the unit
address (1-127) and the unit Secondary Address.
Set the Unit address to a value between 1 and 95. Values from 96 to 127 are
reserved.
For larger systems, the secondary address allows more than one transmit-only
module to share the same unit address. This only applies to WL-TX-900 modules. The
Secondary Address is assigned automatically (starting from 0), when you add a series
of WL-TX-900 units with the same Unit address.
For a printable summary of the unit’s setup, press <Unit Summary>.
For a printable summary of the unit’s Mappings, press <Mapping Summary>.
The Diagnostics page is described in detail in the ‘Diagnostics’ section. Press the
<Diagnostics> button to see this page.
The WL-TX-900 main panel also has the <Read Inputs> button which provides an
easy way of checking the operation of the unit inputs.
Below the unit name in the tree view you can select ‘Mappings’, ‘Sensitivities’, ‘Pulsed
Inputs’, ‘Setpoints’, ‘Thermocouple’ or ‘Unit Details’. Each of these selections will bring
up a different set of options in the right hand side pane. They are described in more
detail in the following sections.
