Seeing Current Sessions and Users

From the navigation bar, select Firebox Users .
The Firebox Users page appears.

In the Active Sessions list, click the Close button adjacent to the session you want to stop. To
stop all sessions, click the Close All button.
If user authentication is enabled for external network connections, a session stops when one of these
events occurs:
•
The idle timeout limit set for that account is reached.
•
The maximum time limit set for that account is reached.
•
The authenticated user manually stops the session. To stop the session, the user clicks the
Logout button on the Login Status dialog box and closes all open browser windows.
Local User Accounts
Below Local User Accounts , you can see information on the users you configured:
•
Name : The name given to the user. The Admin user is part of the default configuration and
cannot be deleted.
•
Admin Level : You can set the user permissions to Full, None, or Read-only.
•
Options
: You can configure a user to use WebBlocker, IPSec MUVPN, or PPTP MUVPN.
If local user accounts are enabled, you also see information about Internet and VPN access rights.
Editing a user account
To edit a user account, click the Edit icon. For descriptions of the fields you can configure, see “Using
Local Firebox Authentication,” on page 158.
Deleting a user account
To remove a user account, click the X adjacent to the account name. A dialog box appears. Click Yes to
remove the account. You cannot delete the “admin” account.
