Changing the presser foot

Lower the presser foot by means of the presser foot lifter.

Make sure that the presser foot bar engages in the lower position.

Does the presser foot bar not engage?

Press the small red lever on the back again.

Does the presser foot bar still not engage?

The presser foot bar is not in the correct position and must be

moved to the correct position.

►

Slide it slightly forwards or backwards accordingly.

Check whether the presser foot has engaged by lifting the presser foot

lifter.
