Changing the presser foot

6.1 Changing the presser foot

In this chapter you will find information regarding how to change the

pressure foot. Special feet are optionally available. The special feet and

their description can be found on the website of W6 WERTARBEIT.

Prerequisite:

•

The correct

‹presser foot›

for the selected pattern is ready for use.

Risk of injury posed by unexpected start-up

The foot controller is on the floor. This can lead to the cover starting up

unexpectedly if the foot controller is activated by, for example, a child, a

sufficiently heavy pet, an object or accidental pressing by the user

themselves.

►

Always unplug the power plug before changing the presser foot.

Risk of injury posed by breaking needles

If an incorrect presser foot is used, the needle may hit the presser foot

and thus be bent or broken; parts may move uncontrollably.

►

Always use the correct presser foot.

Material damage due to selecting the wrong presser foot

If an incorrect presser foot is used, the needle may hit the presser foot

and thus be bent or broken.

►

Always make sure you select the correct presser foot (special accessory).

Please proceed as follows:

Turn the
