10 Stitch selection and thread tension

A great variety of stitch types can be sewn on this cover by changing the

thread tension, the needle position as well as with the manner of threading.

W6 tip

Always keep strictly to the sequence when threading the four threads

1. BROWN thread guide path (lower looper)

2. GREEN thread guide path (needle thread E)

3. BLUE thread guide path (needle thread D)

4. ORANGE thread guide path (needle thread C) in order to create a

correct seam pattern.

W6 tip

Cheap, poor-quality threads can cause trouble when sewing. We therefore

recommend using tension-friendly and lint-free W6 thread available in over

400 shades.

W6 tip

Only use W6 WERTARBEIT needles ELX705 of size 80 or 90 for this cover.

Other needle system are not permitted and may damage the cover.

ATTENTION:

The following table serves as a guide for selecting the different stitch types.

The differential feed, the stitch length and the thread tension may vary depending on

the type and quality of fabric.

As a result, you might have to make readjustments.
