1. Brown thread guide path (threading the lower looper)

Threading

8b.

Pull the brown thread under slight

tension with your left hand behind the

raised metal bar.

Pull the brown thread with your left hand

above the raised metal bar forwards

towards you.

Now, the brown thread is

in front of

the

raised metal bar and

under

the thin quick-

threading spring hook.

Check:

Gently pull the threaded brown

thread to the left. Under tensile stress, the

brown thread must remain below the thin

quick-threading spring hook no. 8a. In this

case, the thin quick-threading spring hook

must move elastically.

Attention: Failure to do so will result in an

incorrect cover pattern.
