40 Wi-Fi and app control using smart devices*
5.3 Establishing a Wi-Fi connection
When you first switch your robot vacuum cleaner on, the WiFi function is deacti-
vated and the WiFi symbol
1 is not illuminated.
• To establish a Wi-Fi connection, follow the exact instructions in the Kobold
Robot app (see Chapter “5.2 Installing the Kobold Robot app” on page 39).
SWITCHING WI-FI ON AND OFF
• To switch the Wi-Fi function on or off, hold down both function keys 2 at the
same time for more than four seconds.
The Wi-Fi symbol... Meaning of the display
...is off. The Wi-Fi function on the robot vacuum cleaner is
switched off.
...is continuously lit. The robot vacuum cleaner is connected to the network
and the app.
... flashes rapidly. The robot vacuum cleaner is having problems connect-
ing to the home network.
Easy Connect connection is established.
Wi-Fi is active, data is being transmitted.
... pulses slowly. The robot vacuum cleaner is in HOTSPOT mode and is
looking for a connection.
