12. Menu settings
Press the confirmation button
to switch from measu-
ring mode to the settings menu. The menu settings ap-
pear. You can now change the following settings:

b) Acoustic messages on/off
You can set whether or not to hear acoustic messages when performing certain operations.
To switch on/off, proceed as follows:
• Select the menu item by pressing the up button (7) and down button

your selection with the confirmation button
(4) to switch to the sound settings menu.
• Press the up button (7) and the down button (6) to switch the acoustic messages
on or off.

(4) or press the Clear button (5) to
cancel the entire setting.
c) Backlight
You can adjust the brightness of the LC display (2) according to your needs. To change the
brightness, proceed as follows:
• Select the menu item
by pressing the up button (7) and down button
(6). Confirm
your selection with the confirmation button
(4) to switch to the brightness settings menu.
• Press the up button (7) and down button (6) to brighten or darken the backlight in
the LC display.

(5) to cancel the entire setting.
