—How it Works
There are three different, but similar methods the PathFinder
IP
can use to get voice mails into
your email inbox.
SMTP server push
Advantages to this method include:
• No action required on the user’s part. Just log into your PC, and when you open email
your voice messages/faxes are already there waiting for you.
• Access voice messages anywhere you access your email, including the Internet.
Conditions necessary:
• PathFinder
IP
must be able to reach the email server over the network.
•
The email server must permit PathFinder
IP
to send messages into its mailboxes. If the
email server runs in a very secure environment, the administrator of the server will need
to provide access for PathFinder
IP
to send.
