7.1.
Compile Playlist
Entry Types
VIDEO AUDIO FILE
PlayerLW decodes both muxed video and elementary video streams. It supports MPEG2,
AVC, HEVC video stream. PCM, MPEG Layer II, AAC audio stream. Ts, Ps, MXF, mp4,
mov containers.
PICTURE
PlayerLW supports BMP MS 24-bit file format.

Press [ADD ENTRY] to open explorer window.

Select a bmp file and press [OPEN] in the dialog. The picture will be added at the end of
playlist.

Open [Entry Properties] and set Duration for the entry. By default it sets to zero that means
infinite playback.
VIRTUAL FILE
The type of entries is used to add a file that contains only one frame and decode this file as long as it
specified in its name.

Create in a video editor an m2v file that consists of only one frame.

Set the name of the file ____dddxxx.m2v where ____ are four underscore symbols, ddd
specifies duration in frames, which PlayerLW interpreters it as how many times frame must
be repeated. xxx is the full name of the file, which consists of full path and name.

Press [ADD ENTRY] to open explorer window.

Select the file and press OPEN. The file will be added at the end of playlist.
NETWORK STREAM
HDM board is able to receive and decode an incoming stream AVC/AAC (UDP/RTP/TCP).

Press ADD ENTRY button in the Decode Tab.

Choose NETWORK STREAM from the appeared list.

In the Network Stream Menu choose Protocol and set Port. Address is always localhost
points to destination PC.

Check Save Incoming Stream and choose the location on the disk or network storage where
the stream data have to be saved.
VIRTUAL FILE (VIRTUAL I-FRAME)
The entry is used to add a black frame video file without an audio.

Press ADD ENTRY button in the Decode Tab.

Choose VIRTUAL FILE from the appeared list.

In the Virtual File Menu select Standard and set Duration in frames. The standard must
coincide with the HD-Primary Output resolution/fps, which is displayed in Decode Tab.
When NTSC or 29.97/59.94 fps mode, the Time Code Drop Frame must be taken into
account. If the drop-frame mode is on and output is NTSC, 29.97 or 59.94, select standard
mode with _df at the end.
