Firmware Upgrade 

 

 

 

CURRENT BOARD 

PlayerLW(m) application reads firmware version from the board and displays it in the menu. 

 

PREFERED 

The version, which is included into the distribution pack. 

 

PREFERRED/CUSTOM 

Preferred is a default option. This option is recommended to upgrade the board. Check or 
upgrade the firmware version. Custom option allows user to select a firmware bit stream 
from disk. 

 

CHECK/UPGRADE 

Compares current board firmware version with the selected in field 

firmware 

 

PROGRESS BAR 

Shows status of upgrading process. When updating procedure has been done, the PC must be 
turned off and power cord must be unplugged for a time to dispose residual electricity from 
the motherboard. Some motherboards have a LED that indicated power on the board. Please 
wait until the LED has gone off The recommended time to wait is 5 min. 

Upgrade Firmware:

 

CHECK firmware first. If current firmware is different to preferred 

firmware, the further usage may leads to defects or unstable work. UPGRADE preferred 
firmware.
