Vista SmartDisc V.24,ISDN,TCP/IP

Vista SmartDisc Update V 4.31

Corrected Errors

Recording and

sequence intervals

In the previous Vista SmartDisc versions, the configured intervals were too
large by a factor of 4. For instance, if images were set to be recorded with a
one second interval, an image was actually recorded only every four seconds.

Faulty ring space

evaluation

In accessing the archive, it could happen that the number of images in the
current ring was not determined correctly and was set to zero.

Ring subdivision not

possible with 2000

rings

No remote access was possible if the archive was divided into 2000 rings.
Loading the ring table resulted in an error and the archive access was inter-
rupted.

Incorrect image

information with

date/time display

The numbers 1 and 7 as well as 3 and 9 are very similar and led to incorrect
image information during differential image operation with date/time display.
The problem was solved by preventing the date and time display in differen-
tial image mode.

Existing Errors

The following errors may occur during operation of the device software and
will be fixed no earlier than the next update:

Recording

intervals <= 0.1 s

The Recording Time/Notify and Delete settings do not function if the record-
ing interval is set to <= 0.1 seconds.

Incorrect display of

the number of

rings

If the hard drive is subdivided into rings and online recording is activated, the
number of rings may be displayed incorrectly. This results in the repetition of
rings within the ring table.

Vista SmartDisc Update V 4.32

New Features

Hard Disks up to

120

GB

With the new Vista SmartDisc version V 4.32 hard disks with a storage capa-
city up to a maximum of ca. 120 GB can be used.

Video Signal  Loss

Detection

The

video signal  loss detection

is delayed for 10 seconds now.

Bug Fixes

Boot Up

The repeated boot ups, which occured especially when switching the device
off for a short time, are fixed.
