Turn the power switch on the side of the
tool to the “OFF” position.

CHECKING THE GEAR REDUCER OIL
LEVEL

Oil Level

Oil Fill Plug

Remove the oil fill plug from the side of the
gear reducer. The oil level should be even
with the bottom of the hole.

If oil is not at the proper level, use the
appropriate oil to bring the level up to the
bottom of the hole. Refer to the tag on
the gear reducer for the proper oil.

NOTE:

The gear reducer’s oil capacity is 60 fluid
ounces/1774 milliliters.
