7.12.2 Terminating a Smart Module

Liebert XD smart modules must be properly terminated or communication errors will result. Smart
modules are shipped from the factory unterminated. If the smart module is the last device in the chain—in
other words, the last module is not connected to a remote sensor—the smart module control board must
be terminated. Refer to the Liebert XD module user manual for terminating procedures.
