12. Installing Bed on Truck: See Figure 12 below
Be sure that power unit and hoist are operating properly. Cycle the hoist up and down 2 or 3
times completely before placing the bed back on the truck frame. Place pick-up bed back on
the pick-up chassis and install rear hinge pivot pins (1" dia x 5-1/16" - 2 required) with heads
on outside and the 1/4" x 1-3/4" roll pins (2 required) through the collar (on the inside of the
upper hinge) and the hole in the hinge pin. Tighten all fasteners on upper and lower hinge
before continuing.
