Relative humidity sensor
Like the gas concentration sensor, the relative humidity sensor should be located in a place where the measured value
corresponds to the true relative humidity in the ripening room.
The connection between the relative humidity sensor and the
PROBA110
is made with a three conductor cable. It is
recommended to use a shielded cable. Connect the shield to the ground in the
PROBA110
and not to the shield of the
network cables !
The three terminals for the relative humidity sensor are located directly above the
connections for the gasification sensor. They are marked with '
+
', '
RH
' and '
-
'. The
PROBA110
also provides the supply for the relative humidity sensor.
The three terminals have the following functions:
* +
supply for the sensor ( 12 - 17 Volt DC),
* RH
signal from the sensor (0 - 1 Volt),
* -
return for supply and signal.
The supply of the relative humidity sensor is short circuit proof.
Appendix H (page 67) shows the connection diagram of the relative humidity
sensor
RH960
itself.
To ensure a good and reliable operation, it is advisable to check and if nessecary adjust the
RH960
once per year.

Pressure sensor
The pressure sensor should be located in a place where the pressure difference can be measured. Connect the pressure
sensor between plastic tubes. Note that the
HIGH
connection is put in the flow-out and the
LOW
connection is in the flow-in
side.
Connection between the pressure sensor and the
PROBA110
is made with a three conductor cable. It is recommended to
use a shielded cable. Connect the shield to the ground in the
PROBA110
and not to the shield of the network cables!
The three terminals for the pressure sensor are located on the left hand side of
the print. They are marked with '
+
', '
IN
' and '
-
'. The
PROBA110
provides the
supply for the pressure sensor, and receives a signal of 4-20mA back.
The three terminals have the following functions:
* +
supply for the sensor ( 12 - 17 Volt DC),
* IN
signal from the sensor (4 - 20 mA),
* -
return for supply and signal.
The supply of the relative humidity sensor is short circuit proof.
Appendix K (page 71) shows the connection diagram of the pressure sensor
PX
25
itself.
To ensure a good and reliable operation, it is advisable to check and if nessecary adjust the
PX 25
once per year.
