Follow these steps to ensure that documents are in good condition for best
machine processing performance:

•

Repair tears and holes with thin adhesive (or scotch) tape.

•

Smooth out creases, folds, curls, and dog-eared corners.

•

Remove rubber bands, staples, and paper clips.

•

Remove stubs and adding machine tapes.

•

Place damaged documents in carrier envelopes, or apply a correction strip.

Contact Unisys with questions about processing documents that are outside
of the specification ranges.
