The action by which a machine component (the endorser) prints information

The machine components that automatically move documents into the track 
for processing.

host PC 

A PC connected either directly or by means of a LAN to a Source NDP 
document processor.  A host PC is required for Source NDP operation.  The 
Source NDP Manager and application programs run on the host PC.

image 

The process of creating a digital representation of an entire document for 
subsequent display or processing, or the actual electronic or displayed 
representation of the document.

jam 

A condition in which documents are stuck in the track and processing stops.
