Section 4  
Source NDP Cleaning    

For continued satisfactory operation, clean the image glass as needed and the 
document processor every week.   Cleaning requires removal and 
replacement of the covers and the removable track wall.  Refer to Section 5 
for instructions to remove and replace these components.  

Note:  In addition to cleaning, feeder components must be replaced for 
continued satisfactory operation when their expected life is exceeded.  Refer 
to “Nudge and Feed Tires and Rollers” and “Separator Tire and Holder” in 
Section 5. 

Cleaning Supplies  

You will need the following items to perform cleaning (refer to Appendix C to 
order):

Microduster (75-0202-905)

Source NDP Cleaning Swabs (75-2094-904)  

• 

Source NDP Cleaning Card (75-2093-906)  

• 

Image Glass (Microfilmer Mirror) Cleaning Pads (75-1804-907) 

Cautions 

• 

Do not expose items presaturated with isopropyl alcohol to heat or 
flame. 

• 

Using gloves to avoid contact of isopropyl alcohol with skin is 
recommended to avoid skin irritation.  

• 

Latex gloves may cause skin irritation for some people.  If irritation or 
rash develops, discontinue use.
