IDE HDD Block Mode
This allows your hard disk controller to use the fast block mode to transfer data to
and from your hard disk drive (HDD). Select Enabled only if your hard drives
support block mode.
IDE Primary/Secondary Master/Slave PIO
The four IDE IPO (Programmed Input/Output) fields let you set a PIO mode (0-4)
for each of the four IDE devices that the onboard IDE interface supports. Modes 0
through 4 provide successively increased performance. In auto mode, the system
automatically determines the best mode for each device.
IDE Primary/Secondary Master/Slaver UDMA
Ultra DMA/33 implementation is possible only if your IDE hard drive support it
and the operating environment includes a DMA drive (Windows 95 OSR2 or a
third-party IDE bus master driver). If the hard drive and your system software both
support Ultra DMA/33, select Auto enable BIOS support.
Onboard FDD Controller
This should be enabled if your system has a floppy disk drive (FDD) installed on
the system.
Onboard Serial Port 1/ Port 2 / Port 3 / Port 4
This item allows you to determine the I/O address of the onboard serial port.
UART 2 Mode
This item allows you to determine which Infra Red(IR) function of onboard I/O
chip.
Onboard Parallel Port
This item allows you to determine the I/O address of onboard parallel port.
