MODbUS DATA ADDENDUM 1
The SMART 3000 has integrated ModBus RTU communications. Using a ModBus
master controller, many of the SMART 3000 thermostat features can be centrally
controlled and monitored.
ModBus is a protocol that is popular because it is robust and simple to
implement. Correct wiring practices are required to achieve maximum reliability.
See page 36 for details on wiring ModBus networks.
The SMART 3000 ModBus data is within the 40XXX range for holding registers.
Depending on your choice of ModBus Master, you may need to enter the address
using the full address - such as 40012 or by selecting Holding Registers and
