2.3 Obvious Abuse
Take the necessary steps to avoid sprinkler operation by untrained staff or when one’s field
of vision is obstructed due to the location of the control equipment.
Take the necessary steps to prevent vandalism of the sprinkler adjustment settings that
may lead to irrigating the wrong side of a sports field.
2.4 Security Advice
Please read these Operating Instructions first, particularly the safety warnings
before you begin working on an M-‐160 sprinkler.
This includes isolating the mainline pressure via a gate valve or isolation valve
and relieving pressure and water downstream of either device before attempting
any work.
The specific security warnings are placed in front of the individual chapters in these
instructions.
2.5 Dangers When Safety Instructions are Not Observed
Failure to observe the safety instructions can endanger a user and/or bystanders as well as
the surrounding environment and sprinkler. Non-‐observance of the safety instructions can
result in a loss of call claims for indemnity and product warranty.

Technical Data
Operate the M-‐160 within the recommended pressure operating range of 60-‐120 Psi (58-‐
114 bars).
Maximum recommended operating pressure should not exceed 145
Psi.
