If the top of the piston drive is brass, then use 2 (qty) long-‐handled flat-‐head
screwdrivers and slowly pry at the same time working the piston drive out of the
piston drive area. See Figure 16-‐1.

A brass piston drive must be replaced with another brass piston drive. A plastic
piston drive is incompatible with this model M-‐160.
5. To re-‐install a brass piston drive locate the alignment tab as shown in Figure 16-‐2. Apply
lubricant to ease in the insertion into the drive assembly cavity. This may require gently
twisting back and forth to seat properly. See Figure 17-‐1.
