The sprinkler arc
pattern gets larger
than required
The spring stop is
loose or not seated
properly.
Spring stop has lost
its tension.
Spring stop is
overturned
Raise the cover of the M-‐160 and
locate the “kick-‐stand” to hold the
sprinkler in the pop-‐up position.
Verify the spring stop is seated
properly then re-‐adjust. Confirm
the arc pattern holds as required.
Remove and replace the spring
stop.
Reset the spring stop as needed or
replace if damaged.

The bearing in the
sprinkler is leaking
The groove ring is
worn out
Remove and replace the groove
ring.
