Gently Twist the Brass Piston Drive to Seat Properly

If the piston drive is black plastic, use a pair of long-‐needle nosed pliers to grip one
of the molded fins on the top of the piston drive and leverage it against the main
nozzle body. The piston drive should slowly pull-‐up and out of the piston drives
area. This may have to be repeated in several other areas around the perimeter of
the top until the piston drive begins to move upward. This piston drive should
slowly pull-‐up and out of the piston drive cavity.

Inspect the interior of the piston drive cavity for any debris that may have collected
down in the gear drive assembly and remove as needed. See Figure 17-‐2.
