Parameters for BLxx-2RFID-S
Note
The default values of the parameters are factory set as follows:
Transmit power level = 1
Transmit frequency band = 1
These parameters must always be set to the relevant application.
The following parameters can be set with the BLxx-2RFID-S modules:
Bypass time
Note
With HF this parameter corresponds to the bypass time and with UHF to the number of
automatic repetitions.
1 byte parameter data image (0...255)
The parameter sets the maximum number of automatic repetitions for the read/write operation of a
data carrier before this is reported as failed.
Example:
1
The bypass time parameter is 0.
The data carrier is to be read but this is not possible due to a fault.
The read operation is not repeated.
The read operation has failed.
2
The bypass time parameter is 1.
The data carrier is to be read but this is not possible due to a fault.
The read operation is repeated.
The data carrier could be read this time.
The read operation is successful.
Note
Practical applications have shown that 20 is the most effective setting for the bypass time
parameter.
Operation mode
With UHF-RFID, this parameter must be set to
“Standard access”
.
Tag type
With UHF-RFID, this parameter must be set to
“Automatic“
.
Transmit power level
Selection of the transmit power level 1 to 8 (see
Table 14: “ Parameters of the BLxx-2RFID-S RFID
).
If transmit power level 8 is selected, the same basic settings for the antennas are used as were defined
in the WebConfig software application (see
