BUSY
This value indicates with FALSE (black) that no command is currently being
executed.
This value indicates with TRUE (green) that the PIB is already occupied with the
processing of a command and cannot accept any other command.
ERROR
This output value is set to “TRUE” if an error is detected. The detected error could
be local (inside the host controller) or remote (inside the Ident unit).
Further information on the error is provided with the STATUS parameter – this
flag is set internally by the PIB depending on the error bit in the acknowledgment
telegram (Bit 0 of Cl). This flag is reset to “FALSE” after a command is recalled.
TP
This output value is set to TRUE (green) if a target (in this case a data carrier) is
within the sensing range of the read/write head.
It is FALSE (black) if no target (in this case a data carrier) is within the sensing range
of the read/write head.
If an Ident unit does not support this feature, the value is set to 0.
Transmitter
_ON
This output value indicates with TRUE (green) whether the read/write head is
active. An active read/write head generates an electromagnetic field. It is FALSE
(black) if the read/write head is not active, i.e. no electromagnetic field is
generated.
TagFully
Read
This output value indicates with TRUE (green) that all data areas of the data carrier
have been fully read by the
BL ident®
system. This automatic reading always takes
place when there is a data carrier in the sensing range of the read/write head.
The output value only indicates TRUE for as long as TP=1. The time between TP=1
and TFR=1 cannot be regarded as the reference time for a read and write
command. If only a few bytes are read or written with a read or write command,
the command is executed considerably faster than, for example, the complete
reading of a 110 byte data carrier. With TFR=1, read commands can directly access
data already stored.
The output value is FALSE (black) if all the data areas of the data carrier have still
not been read completely by the
BL ident®
system, or if the data carrier is not in
the sensing range of the read/write head.
This automatic read operation is interrupted by all user commands. The TFR bit
retains its actual value. The operation is restarted if no other commands are
pending and TP=1.
Transmitter
_Connected
This output value indicates with TRUE (green) that a read/write head is
connected.
It is FALSE (black) if the read/write head is not connected.
TRLEN
This output value indicates the number of the last transmitted user bytes (sent or
received, depending on command executed) after successful command
execution.
