SELECTING AN INSTRUMENT
Instruments are the selectable parameters that appear on the
Work Screen that monitor control channels, rate targets,
individual row performance, spacing, population, ground speed,
and coverage area during operation.
Instruments can be selected and placed in any position.
Instruments can be changed at any time through the
Instruments screen.
Any instrument can be placed in any position.
Certain types of instruments allow duplicate instruments to
be configured on a single display if desired.
Up to four display screens are configurable.
Existing instruments may limit the size of the neighboring
instruments.
Instrument size and orientation are selected at the individual
Instrument Setup screens.
The size/orientation option will not be selectable if the larger
data item selection will not fit on the Work Screen page.
TO SELECT INSTRUMENTS:
1. Press the
INSTRUMENTS
button.
2. Select one of the cells.
3. If an existing instrument with options is selected, hit
EDIT
to
change the Instrument properties or
CLEAR
to remove the
Instrument. If the cell is blank, hit the
ADD
softkey to add a
new Instrument.
4. At the Display Type screen, press a button to select one of
the 16 main heading types. Depending on the system
configuration, there may be a second page of
instrument options.
5. Select the desired data item type and size. Refer to
Instruments. Defined section below for definitions. Some
instrument types do not require selecting further options.
6. Press the
DONE
key to accept selection.

Press the
CLEAR
key to remove selected data item.
-
Press the Arrow key to create a second Work Screen
(up to 4 Work Screens).
