3. Install the regulator onto the zero calibration gas cylinder and connect
tubing from the cylinder to the fitting

4. Turn the gas on (0.3 L/min). Make sure the cylinder is not empty. It
should quietly “hiss” when it is on. Press the

5. The Q-Trak Plus monitor will indicate the status of the calibration
process. After the instrument has averaged the zero gas, the display will
indicate "ZERO CAL COMPLETE".
6. Turn gas off. Detach the regulator from the zero CO calibration gas
cylinder. Press the

key to continue to the span gas calibration step.
7. Install the regulator onto the span calibration gas cylinder. Press the
↵
or
"
key to continue.
8. Adjust the span value of the calibration gas being used by pressing the
!
or
"
key. Press the
↵
key to accept the calibration gas.
9. Turn on the span gas (0.3 lpm) and press the
↵
key to begin calibrating
the span.
10. The Q-T
RAK
Plus monitor will indicate the status of the calibration
process. The process will end successfully when "SPAN CAL
COMPLETE" message blinks (Figure 4-13).
