9 Insert barrel assembly into casing, take the
winding stem and insert into head of motor,
turn until both the square bung shaft and the
square head of the motor line up for easy fitment
into the safety brake and holder, make sure the
wire is facing towards the casing (downwards
so when installed into place later the wire
comes out of the top of the motor)

remove winding stem and keep safe for later
then refit screws to hold motor plate in place.
10 (fig.2.7) : Extend adjustable bung so it locates
all the way into safety brake until the groove
lines up so you can replace the plate and refit
the screws, slide the locking collar all the way
up to the bung and tighten into place (we advise
using a thread lock adhesive to hold in place).
The cable coming from the brake is a 2 core
wire which needs to be connected to the 2 core
extension wire via connection blocks as follows;
Red / Brown to Brown and Green / Blue to Blue.
11 Drill a hole through the flange of the header
plate so as to line up with the hole in the motor
(fig.2.8) then reinsert the winding stem back into
the motor and secure in place with the screw.
12 There are cable glands at both ends which
can be removed and placed in a better position
if required.
